When you start with God, everything else falls into place.

The Unofficial Weaver
The Weaver Curriculum has always had a special place in my heart. It’s what I used to teach my own children so many years ago. This site is my attempt to recreate the original Unofficial Weaver Pages, and make it even better (thank you, technology). Consider this site your “home base” for all things homeschooling and beyond. Because it’s not just school… it’s life!

It’s Okay to be Angry at God
This past week, I was so angry at God. I had a few situations I was praying about, and yet they didn’t seem to be resolving in a positive way. Why had God removed His favor from my loved ones? Why wasn’t He helping them?! I struggled to understand what He was doing, and how…
Homeschooling in General
- While this page is predominantly for those using The Weaver Curriculum, it’s always been my goal to help all homeschooling moms. So, once this (Weaver) site is finished, I’ll be starting a new “journey” to recreate my homeschooling blog. It will be located at TheHOMEWriter.com (but if you go there now, it redirects to my… […]
- This post is just to hold space. If you’re seeing this on the Unofficial Weaver Curriculum site, it’s because I’m testing how posts will look when they are pulled into that site. I’ve connected the RSS feed of GrandmasGotaBlog.com to the site to see how it all works. Photo added to see if it pulls… […]

Meet Your Mentor
Welcome! I’m Kelly!
I’m now retired from my homeschooling journey, but I still love to talk about it. After 24 years of teaching five children in three different states, I’ve learned a thing or two about how it’s done.
The graphic you see was drawn by a friend of mine to show how The Weaver Curriculum “weaves” the Bible into all subjects. All the dark bands, read top to bottom, spell out “Bible” and each of the light bands, read left to right, spell out subjects (reading, history, etc.).
Looking for Support on Your Homeschooling Journey?
We want to make your life as easy as possible! If you are active on Facebook, you can join the group we have over there. If you prefer not to be on Facebook, we have a forum right here on site that you can use to ask questions. Either way, I hope you will regularly check your preferred place (or both!) and offer help to other women on their homeschooling journey.
Beyond Homeschooling
I’ve saved this section for the bottom of the page because it’s not so much about homeschooling as it is about life. You are more than a homeschooling mom. You are a child of God who not only seeks to know her Savior more, but seeks to serve those she loves the way Jesus would. Below are a few of my favorite sites. I hope you’ll visit them and soak in the wisdom and encouragement they offer.
